Bored? Looking for something to do? Start with this list of things to do in the Sacramento area.

(Credit for the below list has to be given to u/BurritoFueled, who created the original list in 2014 and updated it a year later. Almost two-thirds of the items below are still from that original list. All I’ve done with the list is revive it a little bit by updating dead links and making little tweaks when necessary. Also, thanks to those that submitted new additions to the list last week. Over a third of the below items are new and a lot of the original items have had newer information added onto them.)

BFFL Week 6 Projections

Quarterbacks

Pos Player Team Opponent Last Week Projection Comments................................
QB Pablo Sanchez Melonheads vs. Patriots 17 41 Oh boy, here we go. The Patriots are coming to town and that means it's blowout season! Pablo could reasonably join the 50-point club in this game.
QB Debby Nagasawa Cowboys @ Browns 36 35 Debby has been a stud. In her worst game so far this season, she scored 28 points, which is the best 'worst' game out of anyone (if that makes sense). No question about her dominance, keep her going.
QB Brett Favre 49ers vs. Bears 7 32 The most impressive part about the 49ers' 5-0 start is the fact that Brett Favre hasn't been playing that well. I think he might finally get his breakout game of the season against a weak Bears defense.
QB Holly Franklin Giants @ Titans 17 29 After two disappointing weeks to start the year, Holly has found her niche. It could all culminate with a juicy matchup against the Titans. This could be Holly's chance to shine.
QB Rich Gannon Packers @ Monsters 13 27 After 50 points in the first two games, Rich has only 26 points since. However, the Monsters towards the bottom of the league in yards allowed and just allowed 31 points to the opposing QB. Rich could get richer.
QB Steve McNair Raiders vs. Ponies 42 27 Steve's worst game this season is 23 points, which is pretty dang good. No matter what defense is thrown his way, he'll respond. Keep him in your lineup.
QB Chuck Downfield Texans vs. Colts 20 25 Ah, yes. The matchup Chuck has been waiting for. The Colts have the worst pass defense in the league and all the Texans do is pass. If Chuck can limit the interceptions, he could do some big damage.
QB Amy Bostwick Vikings @ Rams 24 25 You know the drill. You have Amy, you start her. End of story.
QB Lulu Legosi Jets @ Chargers 31 22 Lulu was great last week, mostly because of her running ability. The Chargers are middle of the pack in both passing and rushing, so Lulu should have a more balanced game.
QB Sharon Crowe Ponies @ Raiders 7 22 Sharon couldn't get much going last week, but she's always been and up and down player. This week could be an up, as the Raiders are known to engage in high-scoring battles.
QB Judy Abwunza Eagles @ Armadillos 14 21 Judy had a down game last week, and the Eagles couldn't come away with the win. They've got another tough opponent on deck, and Judy will need to ball out if they want to win.
QB Drew Bledsoe Chargers vs. Jets 21 20 Perhaps I denounced Drew too soon. After 16 points in the first 3 games, Drew has rebounded with games of 22 and 21. He's starting to regain his form. The Jets pose a bit of a challenge, but I think Drew is hot right now.
QB David Wilco Falcons vs. Wombats 28 20 The Wombats defense gives up a lot of yards, and most of those are from rushing. David might record more rushing than usual, which racks up stats more quickly than passing.
QB Betty Houstan Monsters vs. Packers 16 20 Betty has been a decent fantasy quarterback despite her lack of rushing attempts. She's fourth in the league in passing yards and has 12/2 TD/INTs. She's been excellent and should keep it going against the Packers.
QB Debra Hannigan Steelers vs. Hornets 23 19 Debra looks like she had a good game last week, but it was mostly rushing yardage; the Steelers still lost 27-6. Debra keeps faltering against bad teams. She needs to not hold back.
QB Sally Dobbs Armadillos vs. Eagles 31 16 Sally spent all afternoon tearing up the Texans' defense, but the Eagles won't be as easy. Sally has been good but has limited potential here.
QB Matt Monday Wombats @ Falcons 11 16 After 5 weeks, would you believe that Matt Monday is leading the league in passing touchdowns? I couldn't either. But the Falcons could allow Matt to lengthen that lead.
QB Ben None Colts @ Texans 36 15 Ben None is the top fantasy scorer after 5 weeks with an even 200 fantasy points. However, the Texans are notorious for stopping the run and will force Ben to pass. I think this severely limits his chances for another huge game.
QB Zena Fromme Bears @ 49ers 32 14 If only you could rollover points. I don't think Zena will be able to find the passing success she had last week against a nasty 49ers team. Don't count on the Bears being the first team to topple them.
QB Thor Thwackhammer Rams vs. Vikings 22 14 Thor enjoyed facing the Patriots and put up the fantasy numbers he was expected to put up. This week, the Vikings will be a tougher test, but not a total disaster for Thor.
QB Bert Nicholson Browns vs. Cowboys 5 8 Bert scored 53 points in Week 1 and only has 39 points in four games since then. He's been downright disgusting. It's not going to get better this week.
QB Stuart Sullivan Hornets @ Steelers 9 7 After starting the year off with a bang, Stuart has now put up single digits in each of the last two games. The Steelers have been pretty bipolar lately, but if the good Steelers decide to show up, Stuart will stay in single digits again.
QB Dan Doorknob Patriots @ Melonheads 0 6 Dan is the most frustrating fantasy QB to own. He has two games of 30+ and two games of 0! Which version of Dan will we get this week? With a hungry Melonheads team on the other side of the ball, I'm guessing it'll be closer to 0.
QB Andy Gibbons Titans vs. Giants 6 0 I think Andy has feet where his hands should be or something. There is no excuse as to why he is this bad of a quarterback.

Running Backs, Wide Receivers, and Tight Ends

Pos Player Team Opponent Last Week Projection Comments...............................
RB/WR Florence Jackson Giants @ Titans 23 34 After four points in two games, FloJack has 94 in her last three. She might double that after this game...okay not really. But she's bound to go off against this meager squad.
WR Vicki Kawaguchi Chargers vs. Jets 34 33 Now that the Chargers offense looks competent, Vicki is even more dangerous than she already was. Keep her in your lineup!
RB/WR Stephanie Morgan Raiders vs. Ponies 27 29 Stephanie rebounded nicely after her Week 4 dud. She's clearly the favorite target and will get most of the passes thrown her way.
RB/WR Belinda Winters Vikings @ Rams 21 27 Belinda was great last week as the Vikings were actually forced to throw the ball. And wouldn't you know it, they won the game too! I think they'll stick with that game plan this weekend.
RB/WR Victor Jones 49ers vs. Bears 6 26 Victor hasn't quite lived up to his potential as the best WR in the league, but he's been pretty good. I think the 49ers will have a good game against the Bears this week, Victor included.
WR Lance Lundergaard Ponies @ Raiders 7 26 Lance's numbers have been falling off a cliff lately. He needs to return to his former self, which I think he has a chance to do against the Raiders' weak pass defense.
RB/WR Frankie McDoogle Jets @ Chargers 3 25 Frankie only mustered up 3 fantasy points and no receptions last week. I think he'll bounce back nicely, as the Chargers aren't that big of a threat defensively.
RB/WR Knuckles McGhee Cowboys @ Browns 6 24 Knuckles surprisingly struggled last week, but the Cowboys still rolled. This time around, he should easily dismember the Browns.
WR Reese Worthington Eagles @ Armadillos 16 24 Reese is still on top of the WR world, and for good reason: he's a beast! The Eagles depend on him and so does your fantasy lineup.Q
WR Maria Luna Falcons vs. Wombats 37 21 Maria is a stud and there's no reason to believe that won't continue against a so-so Wombats defense.
WR Rainbow Callahan Melonheads vs. Patriots 20 21 Rainbow has been a consistent producer for the Melonheads, and she' in line for a lot of action as the Melonheads are sure to destroy the Patriots.
WR Evan Lindstrom Monsters vs. Packers 12 20 If it weren't for that unexpected zero in Week 3, Evan might be the leading receiver in the league. As it stands, Evan is the man among Monsters. He's a good play here.
WR Mindy Weaver Steelers vs. Hornets 5 19 Mindy has had three straight duds, what is going on!? I think this is the week she brings it back, because the Hornets have an awful pass defense.
WR Cade McNown Giants @ Titans 11 18 The Titans will give up points to just about anybody. I think Cade McNown will have his best game in quite some time.
WR Jorge Garcia Texans vs. Colts 14 18 Jorge is not going to go off very often, but against this weak secondary, he should be able to get his fair share.
WR Georgette Washington Wombats @ Falcons 28 18 Georgette has dropped 20+ in every game except one. She's been a stud for the Wombats and your fantasy team.
RB/WR Yasmin Kristov Steelers vs. Hornets 10 17 Yasmin has been consistent, scoring double digits every game. She should keep it going because Debra loves to throw to her.
WR Dwight Frye Cowboys @ Browns 15 17 Dwight picked up Knuckles' slack last game, but in this matchup against the Browns, everybody will be firing on all cylinders.
WR Patsy Clinehurst Ponies @ Raiders 17 17 Patsy has really burst onto the scene the last few weeks, and I think she's shown that she's the real deal. The last test is showing us that Lance and Patsy can co-exist in the same offense.
RB Horace Young Colts @ Texans 2 16 Horace Young is getting the start against the Texans which means he could run wild! He's a nice stream if you need a RB.
WR Baloney Maloney Bears @ 49ers 28 16 Baloney was fantastic last week, but the Bears offense should take a hit as they face a tough opponent. Baloney is probably still start-worthy, but don't expect an outburst.
WR Neal Smith Colts @ Texans 15 16 Neal Smith is the main target and will finally get a lot of looks now that the Texans will shut down the Colts run game. He'll get several points just based on the volume of receptions.
WR Kenny Kawaguchi Melonheads vs. Patriots 6 16 After totaling 36 fantasy points Week 1, Kenny only has 21 points since (including two shutout games). However, with the Patriots on the horizon, everybody on the Melonheads is sure to see some action. I like Kenny in this one.
WR Nutzy Nussbaum Rams vs. Vikings 19 16 Picking which Rams receiver will do better is like predicting Bitcoin prices. I think both of them might do okay, but who knows.
WR Terrell Davis Rams vs. Vikings 16 16 Picking which Rams receiver will do better is like predicting Bitcoin prices. I think both of them might do okay, but who knows.
RB/WR Armon Hammerstein Armadillos vs. Eagles 42 15 Armon had the game of a lifetime last week. However, the Eagles have the speed to keep him in check, unlike the Texans.
WR Omar Stephano Hornets @ Steelers 5 15 Remember when Omar was the top WR in the league? Yeah, now Stuart can barely throw him the ball. Omar is useful since he's the most likely player to get a touchdown, but the Steelers might prevent everyone from scoring.
RB/TE Tony Delvecchio Cowboys @ Browns 18 14 Tony has been creeping up the ranks of fantasy tight ends. I think a soft matchup against the Browns is another one that he and the Cowboys will exploit.
WR Susie Townshend Wombats @ Falcons 7 14 Susie has had her ups and downs, but she's one of the best second receivers in the league. She's always worth a look, especially if Matt Monday continues to lead the league in touchdown passes.
WR Tiffany Bosworth Eagles @ Armadillos 14 13 Tiffany is clearly behind Reese in terms of production, but she's no slouch. Despite scoring less than Reese every week, she's scored double digits 3 times.
RB/TE Mohammed Springsteen Melonheads vs. Patriots 10 12 Mo has surprised us as a good tight end this season. He could reach the end zone again as the Patriots will hand out touchdowns like free samples.
TE Marky Dubois Texans vs. Colts 19 12 Marky is the man and he has finally regained his position as the top tight end. Keep him in your lineup.
WR Pinky Purton Bears @ 49ers 10 11 Pinky has put up at least 9 points each game, but her highest output is only 18. She's very consistent but will never carry your team to victory single-handedly.
WR Lola Linkletter Vikings @ Rams 7 10 Lola hasn't quite replicated her 37 point outburst from Week 2, but she's been decent here and there. Her worth is mostly dependent on touchdowns.
RB/WR Jimmy Rockfish Packers @ Monsters 14 10 Neither of the Packers' receivers have been very consistent this season, and the Monsters just held Frankie McDoogle to three points, so this concerns me a little.
RB/WR Mikey Thomas Texans vs. Colts 11 10 Fun fact: Mikey is the only person in the league who has passing, rushing, and receiving yardage!
TE Kimmy Eckman Texans vs. Colts 2 10 Kimmy was only able to catch a single pass last week, but the fact that she never gets a zero is reason enough to keep her as your tight end.
WR Cullen Sullivan 49ers vs. Bears 0 10 Cullen has been awful this season. If there was ever a time for him to show up, it would be against a weak defense like the Bears. But proceed with caution.
WR Stinky Steiner Chargers vs. Jets 8 10 Stinky has yet to hit double digits, mostly because he has yet to score a touchdown. Will this be the week he breaks the seal?
WR Austin Carpenter Packers @ Monsters 13 10 Neither of the Packers' receivers have been very consistent this season, and the Monsters just held Frankie McDoogle to three points, so this concerns me a little.
WR Amir Khan Raiders vs. Ponies 3 10 What happened? After 70 points in the first three games, Amir has 3 points in the last two games. Maybe opposing defenses have figured out who to stop.
WR Ronny Dobbs Texans vs. Colts 0 10 Ronny was held without a catch last week, which will happen from time to time against a tough opponent. However, the Colts give up a lot of passing yards, so everybody might get a chance to perform this weekend.
RB Winky Wojohowitz Rams vs. Vikings 0 9
RB/TE Travis Diamond Monsters vs. Packers 4 9 Travis had a down week after a few good performances. He's pretty boom or bust, and therefore hard to predict.
TE Needle Haystack Bears @ 49ers 15 9 Needle has finally proven why he's a valuable tight end. Unfortunately, he's about to run into a tough opponent. His success will be dependent upon a red zone touchdown.
TE Jevon Kearse Chargers vs. Jets 14 9 Jevon, like the entire Chargers offense, is starting to find his groove. He's becoming more and more dependable as a fantasy tight end.
TE Junior Seau Ponies @ Raiders 4 9 Junior has had one big game this season, and just little pieces of yardage here and there. Against the Raiders, there are lots of receiving yards to be had, and Junior could get some of them.
RB Greg Bonnell Falcons vs. Wombats 4 8 With Greg Bonnell being a new rusher in the Falcons backfield and the Wombats having a bad run defense, it's all adding up to a potentially big day for Greg.
RB Karen Donato Patriots @ Melonheads 0 8 Karen might get some more action in this game if the Melonheads stop the pass early.
TE Craig David Falcons vs. Wombats 11 8 Craig has been a surprise player out of the tight end position the last few weeks. The David (Wilco) to (Craig) David connection is a good one.
WR Nate Kowalski Browns vs. Cowboys 10 8 Unfortunately for Nate, Bert Nicholson has been playing horribly and can't get him the ball enough times. I would wait for a weaker opponent before starting Nate again.
WR Angela Delvecchio Texans vs. Colts 13 8 Angela had her best game of the season last week, and has another chance to reach double digits depending on who the Texans decide to give their touchdowns to.
RB/TE Dmitri Petrovich Eagles @ Armadillos 0 7 Dmitri put up a goose egg last game but he could see a red zone target this week. Might be a time to gamble if you have no other tight ends.
TE Oliver Ramierez 49ers vs. Bears 0 7 Oliver has been all but nonexistent so far. Maybe if the 49ers got him more involved, their offense would work better.
TE Tom Getz Hornets @ Steelers 11 7 If the Hornets get the ball to Tom a little more, they might have more chances to win.
TE Leah Wayne Packers @ Monsters 3 7 If Leah Wayne was as good at football as she was at baseball, you'd win every fantasy game.
WR Liz Levin Monsters vs. Packers 16 7 I'm pretty surprised that Liz has reached double digits three times this season, although she hasn't reached 20. I'm expecting some regression eventually. It may be a game where every pass goes to Evan.
RB Marcus Weiss Giants @ Titans 0 6 Marcus could see some opportunities in the backfield in this game.
RB/TE June O'Shea Giants @ Titans 3 6 The Giants have their most favorable matchup of the year, so is this the week June finally does something?
RB/TE Ricky Williams Jets @ Chargers 13 6 The Dreadlocked Wonder finally had a good game last week, reaching the end zone. Let's hope we don't have to wait 5 weeks until the next one.
TE Jocinda Smith Rams vs. Vikings 0 6 After I heralded Jocinda as one of the top tight ends, she put up two straight zeros. Oops. I think she's gonna find herself some stats this week after a little hiatus, because the Rams need her.
WR Nickie Noodleson Armadillos vs. Eagles 5 6 Nickie had two good games but came back down to single digits. I don't think the Eagles are the opponent that will give up too many points either.
WR Amanda Craven Colts @ Texans 2 6 Amanda might not make a difference against the Texans if Ben has Neal and Horace to throw to.
WR Annie Frazier Jets @ Chargers 0 6 Uh oh, is Annie hitting her weeks-long slump like she did last season? Might be time to dump her and find somebody riding a hot streak.
RB/TE Rose Watson Steelers vs. Hornets 4 5 Rose is still well behind the other two girls on the Steelers in terms of receiving.
WR Hank Wilson Hornets @ Steelers 1 5 If touchdowns were scored with your feet, Hank might be the best in the league! But as it stand, Hank's hands aren't quite as reliable.
WR Kim Esposito Patriots @ Melonheads 4 5 Kim was unable to do much of anything last week, as was much of the Patriots team. This week could be even uglier against a tougher opponent.
RB/TE Brace-Face Brixton Wombats @ Falcons 1 4
TE Olive Hussein Armadillos vs. Eagles 0 4 Olive is too valuable of a blocker for the Armadillos (or at least, that's an explanation we can go with).
TE Karla Karloff Raiders vs. Ponies 15 4 Karla now has two games of 15 points, and 1 point in the other three games combined. Basically flip a coin with her. We got tails, that means a 0.
WR George Coleman Browns vs. Cowboys 3 4 Things aren't very fun in Brown Town. Especially when you're the second receiver on a team that can't pass the ball.
RB Kiesha Phillips Armadillos vs. Eagles 12 3 Kiesha is back to limited usage this week.
RB James Zorn Bears @ 49ers 3 3
RB George Anderson Browns vs. Cowboys 1 3
RB Andres Isben Eagles @ Armadillos 3 3 Andres has been getting a few looks each week but he's too inconsistent.
RB Hans R. Dirtywashum Titans vs. Giants 0 3 Honestly, the Titans should put Hans at QB instead of Andy. But I can't make decisions for the computer.
WR Petunia Young Falcons vs. Wombats 4 3 Petunia is still not seeing the type of volume you want from a second receiver. Maria is just too good; she's hogging all the yardage.
WR Nellie O'Neal Patriots @ Melonheads 1 3 Nellie is just too slow to find any open field against fast teams like the Melonheads.
WR Ernie Steele Titans vs. Giants 1 3 If I was Ernie, I would demand a trade. He's one of the best receivers in the league, long and lanky, with incredible hands. But the pure incompetence of this dipstick of a quarterback can't even stay upright long enough to throw the ball in his general direction. We could replace Andy Gibbons with a seesaw and just jump on the other end, sending the football flying like a makeshift catapult, and that would be a better way to get the ball to Ernie than what the Titans are doing now. Anyway, bench Ernie this week.
WR Pickles Peterson Titans vs. Giants 13 3 Pickles actually played decent last week and caught a touchdown, a flash in the pan for this fallen former BFFL star.
RB Tina Herrara 49ers vs. Bears 2 2
RB PJ Shareef Packers @ Monsters 2 2
TE Fred Sanders Browns vs. Cowboys 0 2 The Browns need Fred to block, not catch. In fact, they could probably use three Freds.
TE Judy Place Patriots @ Melonheads 0 2 Judy's place is on the free agent waiver wire.
TE J.J. Shetland Vikings @ Rams 3 2 J.J. has two more J's in his name than he has reasons to be in your starting lineup.
WR Cisco Kidd Bears @ 49ers 2 2
WR Spanky Simpson Giants @ Titans 1 2
WR Renee Matthews Jets @ Chargers 0 2
RB Jay Green 49ers vs. Bears 0 1
RB Chico Pappas Melonheads vs. Patriots 2 1
RB/TE Carlos Ocampo Titans vs. Giants 1 1 The Titans need Carlos to block, and he's not even doing that.
WR Jane Davis Chargers vs. Jets 0 1
WR Daisy Dewchester Monsters vs. Packers 5 1
WR Isaac Drummond Packers @ Monsters 5 1
WR Cory Barker Wombats @ Falcons 0 1
RB Bridget Oofar Armadillos vs. Eagles 0 0

RB Pete Montoya Vikings @ Rams 10 0
RB Marcie Mallow Wombats @ Falcons 0 0
RB Shermie Shannon Wombats @ Falcons 0 0
TE Lisa Crocket Colts @ Texans 3 0 Lisa will be relegated to blocking duties against the Texans.
WR Sugar Stone 49ers vs. Bears 0 0
WR Ricky Johnson Armadillos vs. Eagles 0 0
WR Julio Henderson Browns vs. Cowboys 1 0
WR Joshua Marriott Colts @ Texans 2 0

Defenses

Pos Player Team Opponent Last Week Projection Comments..............................
DEF 49ers Defense 49ers vs. Bears 19 19 The 49ers have been amazing this season on their way to a 5-0 record. They should be able to sack Zena Fromme all game long and extend that to 6-0.
DEF Cowboys Defense Cowboys @ Browns 9 18 The Cowboys defense slightly disappointed last week but a matchup against the Browns looks very promising.
DEF Giants Defense Giants @ Titans 17 18 The Giants defense had their best game yet against a pretty good offense. This week they get possibly the worst offense in the league. The G-Men could even improve upon last week's performance. They're a good streamer pick.
DEF Raiders Defense Raiders vs. Ponies 24 18 The Raiders were phenomenal last week, putting up 24 fantasy points. They could threaten a 20-pointer again, since Sharon Crowe gets sacked a lot.
DEF Vikings Defense Vikings @ Rams 9 18 The Vikings played below their standards last week, but they have a favorable matchup here. They should be one of the top defensive options this week.
DEF Jets Defense Jets @ Chargers 20 17 The Jets defense was outstanding last week, and could be line for even more greatness this week. Drew Bledsoe has been improving, but he's still sacked a lot.
DEF Melonheads Defense Melonheads vs. Patriots 10 16 Every defense circles their game against the Patriots on the schedule because they know they're gonna have a good day. The Melonheads are no different.
DEF Packers Defense Packers @ Monsters 10 16 The Packers just lost a game that they should have won, and they'll probably come out swinging to avenge it. I think their defense will bounce back this week against the Monsters.
DEF Colts Defense Colts @ Texans 11 15 The Colts get to face Chuck and the turnovers Texans this week, which could result in good things!
DEF Falcons Defense Falcons vs. Wombats 9 15 The Falcons defense isn't one of the most revered in the league, but they have a good matchup here against the Wombats. They could play beyond their means this week.
DEF Monsters Defense Monsters vs. Packers 14 15 The Monsters defense has been slightly improving each week, and had a season high 14 in their last game. Will they continue the trend this week?
DEF Bears Defense Bears @ 49ers 17 12 The Bears defense has been looking better every game. While they may give up a lot of points, the sacks and takeaways are the only things that count in fantasy.
DEF Steelers Defense Steelers vs. Hornets 1 12 Last week the Steelers forgot how to tackle and put up a league-wide season low of 1 point. They seem to choke against lesser opponents. Hopefully they’ve learned their lesson and can put the Hornets in their place.
DEF Eagles Defense Eagles @ Armadillos 6 11 The Eagles defense was overwhelmed last week by Amy Bostwick and the Vikings. This week they could be line for a few more sacks with Sally Dobbs in the pocket.
DEF Wombats Defense Wombats @ Falcons 6 11 The Wombats defense has been pretty meh this season. They haven't shown anything to convince me to start them.
DEF Ponies Defense Ponies @ Raiders 16 10 The Ponies lost a heartbreaker last week, and it was not the defense's fault. They've been pretty solid. But Steve McNair and co. have been known to torture opposing defenses.
DEF Rams Defense Rams vs. Vikings 19 10 The Rams thoroughly dispatched the Patriots last week, but the Vikings are a whole 'nother beast. It won't be another shutout, that's for sure.
DEF Texans Defense Texans vs. Colts 19 10 The Texans were able to terrorize Sally Dobbs and even score a defensive touchdown. But this week, Ben None will be too fast to sack and they'll have to rely on takeaways.
DEF Armadillos Defense Armadillos vs. Eagles 8 9 The Armadillos find themselves facing another tough opponent. The Eagles have been careful with the ball; Judy Abwunza has only thrown 1 interception all season.
DEF Patriots Defense Patriots @ Melonheads 15 6 The Patriots defense has actually been getting better lately, but I think the Melonheads might put them in their place this week.
DEF Chargers Defense Chargers vs. Jets 6 5 The Chargers have been winning games lately, but not because of their defense. The Bolts will have a hard time sacking Lulu Legosi.
DEF Browns Defense Browns vs. Cowboys 6 4 Remember when the Browns defense scored 26 in Week 1? Yeah, they've only scored 29 in four games since. Not an attractive pick here either.
DEF Hornets Defense Hornets @ Steelers 3 3 The Hornets defense could only muster up 3 sacks last week against the slow-footed Zena Fromme. This week they're facing the Steelers, and Debra Hannigan is three times as quick as Zena.
DEF Titans Defense Titans vs. Giants 6 3 The Titans couldn't stop a nosebleed if they were an extra absorbent tampon.

Punjab & Maharashtra Cooperative Bank (PMC), among the country's top five urban co-operatives in India with deposits totalling more than $2 Billion, gave unsecured loans to the Housing Development and Infrastructure Ltd (HDIL) and its various entities affiliated with the bank's Chairman Waryam Singh, who owns properties worth $300 Million, including real estate and five-star hotels in Mumbai and Punjab.

When HDIL defaulted on the loans, the bank was able to hide its exorbitant non-performing assets from the RBI, the country's central bank, by replacing HDIL's 44 loan accounts with over 21,000 fictitious loan accounts.

The country's federal financial investigating agency found that HDIL used the loans to "gift" a number of private jets and houses to politicians in some of Maharashtra’s posh locations.

Once the scam was exposed, a 1000 rupee ($14) withdrawal limit was imposed on account holders at the bank, which has since been increased to a maximum of 40000 rupee ($560) for a period of six months.

At least two account holders in Mumbai died of a heart attack, and a 39-year-old female doctor who had her life savings deposited in the bank committed suicide.

Crossing my fingers worked!

Hi everyone.
This was an amazing thing to wake up to! It certainly made me get out of bed when I'd planned at least one more snooze of the alarm! I left my comment just on the off chance I might win, I certainly never thought I would!
I'm not really sure what to say, other than a massive thank you to everyone that is donating, just goes to show that if enough people put their minds to it, they can do things no one expected. This is actually proving much harder to write than I expected, I guess the most important thing is to say that I'm so grateful to everyone that's donated anything and I hope I don't let anyone down by wasting it.
What am I going to do with anything that's donated? I've not really thought that far ahead yet, I'm still a bit shocked. I'll definitely be giving some to charity but beyond that I'm not sure. Maybe a jet ski? Not many places to use one in southern England though.
EDIT: It's so close to $1000 now, a massive thank you to everyone that has donated! It might not be enough for a jet ski, but I'm a lot closer than I was this time last week!

Decred Journal — May 2018

Note: New Reddit look may not highlight links. See old look here. A copy is hosted on GitHub for better reading experience. Check it out, contains photo of the month! Also on Medium

Development

dcrd: Significant optimization in signature hash calculation, bloom filters support was removed, 2x faster startup thanks to in-memory full block index, multipeer work advancing, stronger protection against majority hashpower attacks. Additionally, code refactoring and cleanup, code and test infrastructure improvements.
In dcrd and dcrwallet developers have been experimenting with new modular dependency and versioning schemes using vgo. @orthomind is seeking feedback for his work on reproducible builds.
Decrediton: 1.2.1 bugfix release, work on SPV has started, chart additions are in progress. Further simplification of the staking process is in the pipeline (slack).
Politeia: new command line tool to interact with Politeia API, general development is ongoing. Help with testing will soon be welcome: this issue sets out a test plan, join #politeia to follow progress and participate in testing.
dcrdata: work ongoing on improved design, adding more charts and improving Insight API support.
Android: design work advancing.
Decred's own DNS seeder (dcrseeder) was released. It is written in Go and it properly supports service bit filtering, which will allow SPV nodes to find full nodes that support compact filters.
Ticket splitting service by @matheusd entered beta and demonstrated an 11-way split on mainnet. Help with testing is much appreciated, please join #ticket_splitting to participate in splits, but check this doc to learn about the risks. Reddit discussion here.
Trezor support is expected to land in their next firmware update.
Decred is now supported by Riemann, a toolbox from James Prestwich to construct transactions for many UTXO-based chains from human-readable strings.
Atomic swap with Ethereum on testnet was demonstrated at Blockspot Conference LATAM.
Two new faces were added to contributors page.
Dev activity stats for May: 238 active PRs, 195 master commits, 32,831 added and 22,280 deleted lines spread across 8 repositories. Contributions came from 4-10 developers per repository. (chart)

Network

Hashrate: rapid growth from ~4,000 TH/s at the beginning of the month to ~15,000 at the end with new all time high of 17,949. Interesting dynamic in hashrate distribution across mining pools: coinmine.pl share went down from 55% to 25% while F2Pool up from 2% to 44%. [Note: as of June 6, the hashrate continues to rise and has already passed 22,000 TH/s]
Staking: 30-day average ticket price is 91.3 DCR (+0.8), stake participation is 46.9% (+0.8%) with 3.68 million DCR locked (+0.15). Min price was 85.56. On May 11 ticket price surged to 96.99, staying elevated for longer than usual after such a pump. Locked DCR peaked at 47.17%. jet_user on reddit suggested that the DCR for these tickets likely came from a miner with significant hashrate.
Nodes: there are 226 public listening and 405 normal nodes per dcred.eu. Version distribution: 45% on v1.2.0 (up from 24% last month), 39% on v1.1.2, 15% on v1.1.0 and 1% running outdaded versions.

ASICs

Obelisk team posted an update. Current hashrate estimate of DCR1 is 1200 GH/s at 500 W and may still change. The chips came back at 40% the speed of the simulated results, it is still unknown why. Batch 1 units may get delayed 1-2 weeks past June 30. See discussions on decred and on siacoin.
@SiaBillionaire estimated that 7940 DCR1 units were sold in Batches 1-5, while Lynmar13 shared his projections of DCR1 profitability (reddit).
A new Chinese miner for pre-order was noticed by our Telegram group. Woodpecker WB2 specs 1.5 TH/s at 1200 W, costs 15,000 CNY (~2,340 USD) and the initial 150 units are expected to ship on Aug 15. (pow8.comtranslated)
Another new miner is iBelink DSM6T: 6 TH/s at 2100 W costing $6,300 (ibelink.co). Shipping starts from June 5. Some concerns and links were posted in these two threads.

Integrations

A new mining pool is available now: altpool.net. It uses PPLNS model and takes 1% fee.
Another infrastructure addition is tokensmart.io, a newly audited stake pool with 0.8% fee. There are a total of 14 stake pools now.
Exchange integrations:
OpenBazaar released an update that allows one to trade cryptocurrencies, including DCR.
@i2Rav from i2trading is now offering two sided OTC market liquidity on DCUSD in #trading channel.
Paytomat, payments solution for point of sale and e-commerce, integrated Decred. (missed in April issue)
CoinPayments, a payment processor supporting Decred, developed an integration with @Shopify that allows connected merchants to accept cryptocurrencies in exchange for goods.

Adoption

New merchants:
An update from VotoLegal:
michae2xl: Voto Legal: CEO Thiago Rondon of Appcívico, has already been contacted by 800 politicians and negotiations have started with four pre-candidates for the presidency (slack, source tweet)
Blockfolio rolled out Signal Beta with Decred in the list. Users who own or watch a coin will automatically receive updates pushed by project teams. Nice to see this Journal made it to the screenshot!
Placeholder Ventures announced that Decred is their first public investment. Their Investment Thesis is a clear and well researched overview of Decred. Among other great points it noted the less obvious benefit of not doing an ICO:
By choosing not to pre-sell coins to speculators, the financial rewards from Decred’s growth most favor those who work for the network.
Alex Evans, a cryptoeconomics researcher who recently joined Placeholder, posted his 13-page Decred Network Analysis.

Marketing

@Dustorf published March–April survey results (pdf). It analyzes 166 responses and has lots of interesting data. Just an example:

Community Discussions

Community stats: Twitter 39,118 (+742), Reddit 8,167 (+277), Slack 5,658 (+160). Difference is between May 5 and May 31.
Reddit highlights: transparent up/down voting on Politeia, combining LN and atomic swaps, minimum viable superorganism, the controversial debate on Decred contractor model (people wondered about true motives behind the thread), tx size and fees discussion, hard moderation case, impact of ASICs on price, another "Why Decred?" thread with another excellent pitch by solar, fee analysis showing how ticket price algorithm change was controversial with ~100x cut in miner profits, impact of ticket splitting on ticket price, recommendations on promoting Decred, security against double spends and custom voting policies.
@R3VoLuT1OneR posted a preview of a proposal from his company for Decred to offer scholarships for students.
dcrtrader gained a couple of new moderators, weekly automatic threads were reconfigured to monthly and empty threads were removed. Currently most trading talk happens on #trading and some leaks to decred. A separate trading sub offers some advantages: unlimited trading talk, broad range of allowed topics, free speech and transparent moderation, in addition to standard reddit threaded discussion, permanent history and search.
Forum: potential social attacks on Decred.
Slack: the #governance channel created last month has seen many intelligent conversations on topics including: finite attention of decision makers, why stakeholders can make good decisions (opposed to a common narrative than only developers are capable of making good decisions), proposal funding and contractor pre-qualification, Cardano and Dash treasuries, quadratic voting, equality of outcome vs equality of opportunity, and much more.
One particularly important issue being discussed is the growing number of posts arguing that on-chain governance and coin voting is bad. Just a few examples from Twitter: Decred is solving an imagined problem (decent response by @jm_buirski), we convince ourselves that we need governance and ticket price algo vote was not controversial, on-chain governance hurts node operators and it is too early for it, it robs node operators of their role, crypto risks being captured by the wealthy, it is a huge threat to the whole public blockchain space, coin holders should not own the blockchain.
Some responses were posted here and here on Twitter, as well as this article by Noah Pierau.

Markets

The month of May has seen Decred earn some much deserved attention in the markets. DCR started the month around 0.009 BTC and finished around 0.0125 with interim high of 0.0165 on Bittrex. In USD terms it started around $81 and finished around $92, temporarily rising to $118. During a period in which most altcoins suffered, Decred has performed well; rising from rank #45 to #30 on Coinmarketcap.
The addition of a much awaited KRW pair on Upbit saw the price briefly double on some exchanges. This pair opens up direct DCR to fiat trading in one of the largest cryptocurrency markets in the world.
An update from @i2Rav:
We have begun trading DCR in large volume daily. The interest around DCR has really started to grow in terms of OTC quote requests. More and more customers are asking about trading it.
Like in previous month, Decred scores high by "% down from ATH" indicator being #2 on onchainfx as of June 6.

David Vorick (@taek) published lots of insights into the world of ASIC manufacturing (reddit). Bitmain replied.
Bitmain released an ASIC for Equihash (archived), an algorithm thought to be somewhat ASIC-resistant 2 years ago.
Three pure PoW coins were attacked this month, one attempting to be ASIC resistant. This shows the importance of Decred's PoS layer that exerts control over miners and allows Decred to welcome ASIC miners for more PoW security without sacrificing sovereignty to them.
Upbit was raided over suspected fraud and put under investigation. Following news reported no illicit activity was found and suggested and raid was premature and damaged trust in local exchanges.
Circle, the new owner of Poloniex, announced a USD-backed stablecoin and Bitmain partnership. The plan is to make USDC available as a primary market on Poloniex. More details in the FAQ.
Poloniex announced lower trading fees.
Bittrex plans to offer USD trading pairs.
@sumiflow made good progress on correcting Decred market cap on several sites:
speaking of market cap, I got it corrected on coingecko, cryptocompare, and worldcoinindex onchainfx, livecoinwatch, and cryptoindex.co said they would update it about a month ago but haven't yet I messaged coinlib.io today but haven't got a response yet coinmarketcap refused to correct it until they can verify certain funds have moved from dev wallets which is most likely forever unknowable (slack)

Can i catch a modder with Wireshark? (PC)

April 22nd, 2017 New Working Trick to fight modders*: Reencode their mod menu executables to make it look like a virus on VirusTotal.com, causing their own mods to get deleted by Windows Defender:
https://github.com/tanc7/ModMenuPoisoneraw/masteModMenusRuined.jpg
Isn't that sexy?
It's a really simple trick too! Here is a How-To-Video:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/tanc7/ModMenuPoisonemasteHowToUseModMenuPoisoner.webm
You need Kali Linux with Metasploit Framework Installed, a VM version for simple users is right here:
https://www.offensive-security.com/kali-linux-vmware-virtualbox-image-download/
Then download VirtualBox:
https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads
Then run VirtualBox with Kali Linux as a virtual machine and download my toolkit:
https://github.com/tanc7/ModMenuPoisoner
  1. Copy/paste the unzipped file directory of the mod menu
  2. Take the re-encoded file that now looks like a virus and submit it to VirusTotal: https://virustotal.com/
  3. Wait up to 2 to 3 weeks, eventually a antivirus update is pushed to users on Windows 8 and 10 machines, Windows Defender will auto-flag the menu executable as a virus and "kill it".

OLD STUFF
I rewrote the post after my discovery of how the network traffic works. The answer in short, unfortunately, is NO. But R* can detect it. I will assure you.
From several tests, there are NO distinguishable traffic from the UDP protocol, in a public lobby that allows you to identify a modder, if you are being harassed by one.
However, I tested two mod menus on my decoy account (I have two Steam accounts, and two Rockstar Social Club Accounts). The one thing that is significant is that there is a suspicious communication to the Rockstar servers. Mod menus generate DTLSv1.0 packets. Sent to Rockstar's servers at "192.81.241.100 prod.ros.rockstargames.com". Playing the game legitimately, no DTLSv1.0 packets are sent. But if you load a mod menu, Rockstar knows.
The problem is, it is traffic going to the dedicated Game Service Servers. You, as a random person in a public lobby, will not be able to see it.
TLDR... Let Rockstar catch and ban modders. You will never find them
They are doing a pretty decent job. According to MPGH chatter, since four days ago a lot of the mod developers are pulling out of implementing money hacks into the game. As they cannot find a way to get past R* Anticheat yet. http://www.mpgh.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=414
I tested the one with the "Safe Money Drop". My decoy account got banned for 30 days.
But you could be a real creepster. And tell people with unprotected (no VPN no proxy) internet connections, what city and state they live in. That still works.
How to do that? I tested it on 5 different people already, all my friends.
In-game, you have to be following the player around. The closer you are with the player, the more bytes are generated and sent between your IP and theirs. That helps you distinguish their IP from anyone else's.
Now
Start Wireshark capture Statistics Endpoints Bytes Tab (Sort by highest) Your highest NON-LOCAL IP on ports 6672 (UDP, most players have traffic through this) is the player's IP
Using that IP, you can choose to either click the Name Resolution Checkbox on the bottom left of the Endpoints window. Or, you can just Google it.
The potential of this vulnerability? DO NOT DO THIS
Lets say you wanted to be a douchelord or something, and you don't like another player. Keep GTA V running in Windowed Mode, fire up wireshark, start capture. Locate the player IN-GAME and follow him around for at least one or two minutes.
After you positively identified the player's IP (using the bytes-captured method on port 6672), you can attack it with a subscription DDoS/DoS Botnet provider. Also known as a "stresser" or "booter" for obvious reasons. (Note: they only accept either BitCoin or PayPal, I hate both of them). A few examples...
(1) Defiance Protocol
(2) Thunder Stresser
(3) PolyStress
(4) Stress3d.me
(5) DataBooter
(6) ExoStresser
What does it do if you choose to do this?
Well, first of all, even though they are known as booters or stressers, they initiate a Denial of Service attack on the victim machine. That means even if you left the session (you better), you can initiate the attack. It will shutdown their entire home network for a X amount of ms, just enough to kick someone, including the host of the lobby, out of the session.
All you need to know to launch the attack is...
(a)The IP address of victim machine
(b)The Port you want to attack (port 6672)
(c)The method of attack (chose one that is relevant to the protocol), like TCPStorm, DOMINATE, SYNFLOOD, etc.
Seriously, don't do it. All I figured out is how to stalk my friends on GTA V. I have yet to even learn how to decrypt the captured GVSP data. If you want to catch modders on your own, you need to crack that hash. Seems like there is a new key generated a session. Hopefully R* in GTA VI will patch this vulnerability.
GOOD LUCK,
DON'T DoS people,
and GO sign up for a VPN or Proxy, RIGHT NOW.
Stuff Online on DTLSv1.0 Traffic
https://wiki.wireshark.org/DTLS
DTLS is a SSL Protocol that is compatible through UDP. It can be used to create SSH Tunnels back to R* Servers.
Since the last thing a mod developer wants to do is give R* all of your info willingly, I am assuming that this DTLS traffic is part of the anticheat mechanism implemented by R*.
DTLS traffic, as of yet, cannot be filtered by capture alone. However, you simply just look at the packet, and then filter the UDP traffic and port to display the majority of DTLS traffic.
Example Packet Summary:

Update: The Solo Public Lobby Glitch Works (Somewhat)
https://www.reddit.com/gtaonline/comments/4n8094/tip_if_you_are_on_pc_block_these_ports_using_you?ref=share&ref_source=link
So this was months old, and its a archived post but basically he says you can glitch yourself into a SOLO public lobby by blocking your game ports to R*'s servers.
That is only partially correct by now, January 20th 2017. The game will still attempt to connect to you to a filled public lobby, BUT, it will be much less populated.
Now you need to block both inbound and outbound communications on UDP ports on..
(His Original Post) Select UDP and put in these ports 6672, 61455, 61457, 61456, 61458 These are R* game server ports and select next.
Through the Windows 10 Firewall Settings.
You should have Firewall running at all times anyways. Even though my Airport Extreme already has a smart firewall installed.
Windows Firewall Settings
https://scontent.flas1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/16195900_402016770142664_9185237840131020577_n.jpg?oh=cec83e04c1fa93cd3402702a5b8b867f&oe=591C283E
These are the settings you must have on Windows Firewall, on Windows 10.
Make one rule for INBOUND and one for OUTBOUND. You can do this while playing the game.
Set them to enabled and change session. You should be on a new lobby with MUCH LESS PLAYERS. Keep Lobby-Surfing until you end up alone or the other people leave.
My Wireshark capture tells me that the only other player in the game is connected to me via UDP 35464. He eventually left. Leaving me in a session by myself.
It won't guarantee you a solo lobby anymore, but it makes it much rarer for packed lobbies with modders and jet griefers.
If you are feeling lonely, then disable those firewall rules and switch session again.
I still have a UDP connection via 6672 despite the rules. My wireshark picks up no traffic at all though.
Hmm interesting. If you block your traffic it now generates DTLSv1.0 traffic (like modder traffic) to Rockstar at 192.81.241.100. There is also a lot more TCP traffic through Port 80 (but its still obfuscated). And it is going through my blocked UDP ports in the new firewall rules. It basically SSH tunneled through UDP directly to R*. So it's just me and their gameserver. No one else.
Well the admins know I am not cheating. They prolly think I have a lousy internet connection or a jerk of a admin (they think) who doesn't want me to use UDP gaming ports. I am not worried at all.
If you wanna sell all of your shit without being picked on. Then do this,
enable the firewall rules both inbound and outbound,
sell your shit,
and then disable them and switch sessions again so you won't be lonely anymore.
Here are the packet captures that I am WILLING to share. Basically it shows two things.
R* Will open a SSH tunnel secret in at least TWO conditions
(1) If you are modding. There will be a SSH Tunnel created using the DTLSv1.0 protocol on your UDP ports. Telling R* what you are doing if your game traffic looks suspicious
(2) If you are using the firewall glitch, the game will get around your Windows Software Firewall and start connecting to R* with the SSH tunnel.
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Beow8WOgBFODJJNTN0d3VGYW8/view?usp=sharing
For #2 if you check on my packet capture links, even though I told Windows Firewall to block that UDP port, packets were sent through anyways as DTLS traffic. I have yet to be banned for this.
This ensures that R* can still save my data. And you get to have less populated and/or totally alone sessions so you can play the damn game!
And here is a example of normal traffic. Me and three of my friends in a 4-player Survival Game
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Beow8WOgBFRU1veG52N1VCZkU/view?usp=sharing
Edit: Uploaded a 38 minute video, soloing biker deliveries without interference from other players. Works as long as I end up being the only player in the session, no new players can join because I blocked my ports
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Beow8WOgBFbzBSY3VnWkZyMU0/view?usp=sharing
Other Possible Ramifications (Very Bad If It's True!)
Not to freak everyone out. But it MAY be possible, for someone with actual hacking talent (not me), to drop a Staged Meterpreter Shell into your computer, assuming that he or she knows your IP address through the discovery on Wireshark. They can then...
(1) Have the payload on execution rewrite a critical system file in your computer
(2) Download the remaining stages of the payload
(3) Slowly compromise other system processes on your computer
(4) Gain root-access (Administrator in Windows)
(5) Start executing commands as Root/Admin
(6) Do creepy shit like use your webcam to take a picture of your face. Or steal your saved payment information in your browser cookies for Amazon, etc.
I typically would picture our typical home networks like this in a typical game lobby on GTA Online
Me
Laptop running GTA V My Router and Firewalls My Public IP (UDP Port 6672) My ISP
You
ISP routing path Your ISP Your Public IP (UDP Port 6672 and/or other) Your Home Router and Firewalls Your Computer
The problem with the UDP protocol, is that it has very little verification and checksumming. It just keeps spamming packets, making it viable for low latency applications (gaming).
If I can make a virus or reverse shell look like typical game data, then it SHOULD get through your firewall, and automatically get forwarded by your router to your computer. As long as I am connected to you, all the validation is authentic. As long as I am connected to you, either in a game mode, or through the public lobby!
If those conditions are met. Then it's going to look like regular traffic to your network.
I have yet to even try this. I did managed to reencode a standard reverse shell payload (msfvenom) and infected myself with it (successfully SSH tunneling through my own router from the WWW against my Linux installation). However, my Windows variant failed to execute due to Windows User Account Controls. Windows Defender was futilely, furiously searching for this "virus", and eating up all my hard drive usage (100% while playing GTA) until I finally removed it after running a scan with HitmanPro (a heuristics second-opinion scanner that hunts for files that exhibit virus/malware like activity).
PSA: DO NOT USE WIRESHARK TO MONITOR GTA V TRAFFIC, R* EULA HAS RECENTLY BEEN CHANGED, DEPENDING ON SEVERITY IT MAY BE A INSTANT PERMANENT BAN
At 4:30 AM PST, January 22nd, my account received a permanent ban as I was with my friends on their yacht looking through the scope of a sniper rifle in the middle of a Piracy Prevention Match.
As it turns. Sniffing network traffic via Wireshark may or may not be a ground for a ban. Regardless of whether or not I am doing it right now.
I even double checked the vague Rockstar Games EULA to make sure.

The Secret UDP SSH Tunnel (DTLSv1.0), got it. R* Anticheat. Check. Don't fuck with it? Naw mang, sorry, totally lost it. Well... if I straight up spilled the beans on how your anticheat works, including what it could possibly do and can't do, and how it might work, I'd guess you'd be pretty mad at me too.
Especially since posting on Reddit is the equivalent of me following you around IRL with a megaphone, screaming in public in earshot "Don't trust him! He is reading your shit! He's looking through your gameplay traffic right now. And he knows everything!!!!"

Remember what I said about DDoSing people that are discovered on Wireshark? If you do this, and the victim knows the right people to call, I wouldn't be surprised if G-Men in suits knock on your door.
At first, I thought, that was it. Then I decided to go Google "GTA V Banwave" and set the time to one week ago. What I saw was a real trip. A huge spike in fake bans and urgent warnings, "PSA's" all over YouTube
It's something related to the latest iteration of Mod Menus that have been popping up. I have not seen so much panic run through the forums of UnknownCheats and MPGH in my life. New versions, updates, and customized variants of Mod Menus have been popping up on a daily basis. And with a detection period from launch, of at most, a week long. That is, the day that the new mod menu gets uploaded, to the point that users start to report they are getting banned for it, can be up from a week from now. R* anticheat went into overdrive. Developers have been scaling back on implementing the money drop feature for fear of triggering instant bans for their users (hence the lack of money drops recently). Then I noticed something...
The prevailing issue of "Persistent Mods" and possible "Memory Corruption" implicating innocent players
I am talking about mod menus that permanently break a lobby's features like free roam missions, like CEO or Bikers, but this time, it can carry over betweens lobby sessions. I saw my first variant earlier this week and shrugged it off. Then I saw my second one today. Some modder was caging me and my friends and trying to flatten us with Bugattis.
Normally I would just join another session and any wacky attachment would fall off. But now the damage, errors, and bugs caused by mod menus can "carry-over" with me. I realized that I couldn't change my Outfits via the "Style Menu" for the second session in a row, I could not eat snacks to regenerate health, nor could I equip body armor. In some cases, I couldn't register as a CEO and start my missions, even though I already SWITCHED to a new lobby.
After fully restarting the game from Steam, the "mod persistence" ceased. I had full control of my character again. Because we are talking about starting over again with fresh untainted memory.
First instance of discussion of innocent bans recently https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKYnCDolKSc
This video claims that you should be avoiding public lobbies on the PC like the plague or apocalypse. IDK if you have to be THAT extreme. Just don't interact too much with modders. Or try glitching yourself into a solo public lobby via the firewall glitch.
This is really sad though. This guy is a victim of a modder, and he gets a ban for it, probably from memory corruption caused by the modders that Rockstar's Anticheat picked up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1IEs-Bf7Is
I am certain that if you react quickly enough, you will NOT get flagged by the modder's actions. You just need to do a full restart of the game. Not your PC. Just the game on Steam. So don't enjoy a modder's company for too long, no matter how pleasant they may appear.
Holy fuck dude. The game still costs $60 on Steam. After all these years. I'll just wait until my decoy account gets unbanned. I'll see you guys in 30 days.
Fortunately, it is NOT a MAC Ban. I logged into my decoy account. Decoy account still has a one month suspension.
