So I have a small side business and I currently have my clients pay me via ACH transfers. I do this because with quickbooks it's a flat 50c per ACH payment no matter the amount. Anyway, Im interested in perhaps accepting these payments in bitcoin (my clients would NOT pay in bitcoin) by my customers paying via ACH like they do now and me receiving BTC. Is there anyway to make this work? I am a complete newbie to BTC so I would like to know how can I protect my bitcoin. Is there a general comprehensive guide to knowing how to protect yourself with bitcoin? Any help would be appreciated. TIA
Hey Guys, I am a high school student and I'm writing a paper in Economics on Bitcoin and the world economy. To aid my investigation, I have created a short survey for merchants who accept Bitcoin as a means of payment. I posted here earlier, with a survey for consumers (https://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/3yi7q3/survey_on_bitcoin_for_research_paper_in_economics/), and after receiving way more responses than I expected, I created another survey for merchants. It will only take 5-6 minutes to answer (though I would appreciate it if you would take the time to write more thoughtful answers): https://aniruddhagarwal.typeform.com/to/nPyuQS I hope some of you will help with the paper. I'll be happy to answer any queries in the comments down below. Thanks,
Hello Everyone! I know my project may be against the entire vibe of this community, but for some of you it may be useful, and for you I will pursue it! I'd like to present the official public beta (alpha? :o) of Bitzaar! Bitzaar aims to be an e-wallet service, but focused on merchants. We want to make it easy for merchants to accept bitcoins and conduct business with this magical currency. At Bitzaar we'll be focusing primarily on enabling merchants to provide their services without having to worry about bitcoin clients, server security, or any of the other things associated with accepting a currency. We're going to be introducing more cart integrations in the near future, for now we just have the big one...WHMCS. We want merchants to focus on what they do best, their products and customers! For right now I'm only announcing a preview of the service that runs on the Bitcoin testnet. This is to close any security holes that may come up, polish features and usability, and get general feedback without you having to worry about losing any of your hard earned coins. https://stage.bitzaar.com Constructive ;) feedback is most appreciated! Ideas and feature requests are more than welcome! We'll be trying to release as safely and often as we can. ;D We're in the process of adding Dwolla for account withdrawals. This should be done by the final non-testnet release.
I have been plugging away at trying to integrate bitcoin with my shopping cart site. I would love some guidance before I waste any more time banging my n00b, HTML-challenged head against the wall. Takers?
I operate a shopping cart site using 3dcart, and I REALLY want to integrate bitcoins as an acceptable payment method. I know this must be possible despite no easy 3dcart plugin, etc., but I am a n00b and HTML challenged. I would love to learn how to do this, and any help or tutelage would be greatly appreciated. I work for an apparel printing and promo products distributor, and I'm interested in making/selling some bitcoin shirts, but first I want to officially join the ranks of merchants (we're both online and brick&mortar) accepting bitcoin! Takers?
